Two professors of education explore troublesome cultural gaps Latino students often face in school. This book develops cultural competence by helping readers recognize that the growing Latino population and a predominately White teaching force aren’t wearing the same “shoes.” This guide presents practical strategies educators can use to foster culturally sustaining learning environments.
